Ali Al Salem Airforce Base
Garda metal works has established AT-GMW srl, a company focused on the management, design and construction of the new Ali Al Salem airforce military base. The material chosen for the construction of the the roofs include supporting sheets, galvanized “Z” profiles , fire rated thermal insulation and rib roofevolution sheets by Zambelli. The roofing covers the managing buildings of the airbase: hangarettes flight line, stores and maintenance hangar, offices, paint hangar.
The different structures and shapes of the buildings required a combination of inclined and flat roofs with high acoustic and thermal abilities.
The considerable quantity and length of Rib Roof Evolution sheets required on site production of the covering sheets through the use of a mobile profiling machine placed inside a container.
