Qatar Integrated Railway
The new Doha overground metro will be operational by the end of 2019 and
will have four lines with a total length of about 300 km and at least 100
stations. The Doha Metro will be one of the fastest autonomous rail service
for passengers and freights. The Louis Berger Joint Venture Egis Rail (LBERJV) in association with Qatar Program Management Company (QPM) provided
project, management, and construction management.
The roof covering of the two main HUB stations was designed by Baumetall.
An essential preliminary study with in-depth analysis and 3D projections, were critical in carrying out this work created entirely in BIM technology.
